Crafted with precision, every structural component—from the frame and fork to the handlebar and cranks—is made of 100% chromoly steel, offering resilience, strength, and an impressively smooth ride feel. Central to the Taj’s design are its 27.5″ wheels paired with Maxxis Ardent Race 2.2″ tires. This setup provides stability and traction across diverse terrains—whether you’re carving through city streets or exploring light trails—while maintaining the agility characteristic of a BMX bike.
The bike’s simplicity is a key feature: a single-speed drivetrain with a 28-tooth chainring and 14-tooth freewheel emphasizes ease of use and low maintenance. Braking power comes from Odyssey Springfield U-brakes on both ends, operated by Odyssey Monolever brake levers, giving reliable stopping control even in dynamic conditions.
Ergonomics and control are prioritized with a Fairdale MX-6 chromoly handlebar, Sunday Freeze top-load stem, Fairdale Swan grips, and a Fairdale-specific railed saddle mounted on a micro-adjustable 27.2 mm seatpost. The robust build continues through every component—from sealed-bearing hubs and double-wall aluminum rims to the mid-sized bottom bracket—all designed for smooth ride quality and longevity.
